Pure Threads, Sealed Fresh

Pure Hand-Picked Saffron | Net Wt. 5 g (10 sachets × 0.5 g)

Saffron in its most direct form. The same hand-harvested Herat saffron at the heart of our coffee, offered on its own for your kitchen.

Every batch is graded ISO 3632 Category 1 for colour, aroma, and flavour and comes with a Certificate of Analysis. The threads are portioned into ten sachets and sealed to preserve their character from the first sachet to the last.

A pinch is all it takes: add it to rice and slow-cooked dishes, infuse it into milk, tea, or coffee, or bring a golden touch to anything worth making at home.

Our Story

Saffronate began with a simple gift: a small jar of saffron from Afghanistan, given from a son to his father. Known as “red gold,” saffron has been treasured for generations in the region our family comes from.

In 2023, we set out as father and son to bring this remarkable ingredient into an everyday ritual. After experimenting with tea, chocolate, milk, and more, we found the pairing we were looking for in specialty coffee.

We combined carefully selected coffee with hand-harvested saffron from Herat, Afghanistan, creating Saffronate Coffee: where the richness of specialty coffee meets the distinctive aroma and character of saffron.

Where ancient luxury meets everyday pleasure.
